All throughout the tournament he was very solid from tee, approached the greens strategically and putted well. He scored: 65, 64, 68, 66 and finished -17. The placement of this tournament also gave him a jump up on the world rankings where he is currently placed 75th.
He was up top 20 during the tournament but fell through a bit during foremost the last round. Although not being able to finish exactly the way he wanted to, he takes a lot of good things with him for upcoming tournaments. Next up will be in Prague, August 24th.
During the third round he managed to score a 63 -7 , making five birdies, one eagle and the rest pars. He finished with a total of -11, only two strokes behind the winner. This result put him up to 7th spot on the tour rankings and he currently has the best season average score rank of all the players.
He really showed what a great golfer he is and that he is able to handle both pressure and nerves. He avoided trouble, getting only five bogeys during the entire week on the both long and tricky Earth course. He also scored many birdies, ending -14.
Most impressively was the 2,5 meter put on the eighteenth green today to finish as the runner-up.
