Игровой процесс делает акцент на изучение локаций, на которых надо собирать материалы и инструменты, благодаря которым можно создавать оборудование и оружие. И если поначалу это интересно, то уже к третьему часу утомляет.
Помимо собирательства, тут есть и редкие стычки с противниками. Если стелс еще терпимый, то перестрелки не дотягивают до современных шутеров от первого лица. При этом у Chernobylite приличный дизайн мира и потрясающая атмосфера. На консолях нового поколения проект работает через обратную совместимость, и разработчики рекомендуют играть в версии для PlayStation 4 и Xbox One. Я запускал игру через обратную совместимость на PS5 и столкнулся с багом, который не позволял пройти дальше.
